Spend some quality time with your child in the park complete with
a spray pool, climbing toys, swings and a sandbox area designed specifically
for children under five. Parents of young children are encouraged to bring a
picnic supper and enjoy a fabulous evening of play activities for
children along with information tables for parents. The Partners of the
Parenting Resource Network, an information and resource service, will provide

MOVIN' UP: Is it Time to Go Back To School Already?
It's all about making the transition to a new school or just a new class a smooth and easy one. Come hear tips for slipping out of the carefree, lazy days of summer to the more structured expectations of fall. Transitions can be very important in a young child's development - each step building up their confidence and self-esteem. Take advantage of the final few weeks of August to slowly gear up for the inevitable changes that September will bring.
